Year 8 Students Embark on Learning Journeys

Our Year 8 students recently took part in Learning Journeys, an important Trinity experience focused on connection, growth and reflection.

From Toolangi to Bulleen, the boys shared new experiences, took on challenges, had important conversations and spent time listening to one another. Along the way, they were encouraged to think about who they are, the relationships they build and the kind of young men they want to become.

Learning Journeys empowers students to acknowledge, embrace and learn from who they are becoming, while developing self-awareness, resilience and respect. It gives them an opportunity to step outside the usual school routine, challenge themselves and see themselves and each other in new ways.

The wider Trinity community plays an important role, with Year 11 leaders, Old Trinity Grammarians (OTGs), parents and staff supporting the boys, facilitating activities and sharing their own experiences.

For our Year 8 students, Learning Journeys is about more than the activities themselves. It is about building meaningful relationships, embracing new experiences and taking time to reflect on their growth and journey ahead.
