Our whole-school approach at Trinity provides the opportunities and challenges, as well as the structure and support, to give young people a balanced education.

The built and natural environment, which is centred in Kew but extends to Bulleen, Licola and Nillahcootie, creates a diversity of learning experiences catered to each age and stage of development.

Junior School (Early Learning Centre and Prep – Year 6)

The Trinity Grammar School Junior School educates boys from Prep – Year 6 in a single-sex learning environment, as well as two coeducational classes of 3 and 4-year olds in our Early Learning Centre, which was rated Overall Exceeding in 2023.

We teach using the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme approach from Prep – Year 6. Subjects are taught concurrently whilst fulfilling the requirements of the Victorian Curriculum.

Senior School (Year 7 – Year 12)

The Trinity Grammar School Senior School educates students from Year 7 – Year 12.

Our university-style Senior School campus on the east side of Charles Street encourages the development of independence, confidence and leadership in our students.

The Trinity classroom is a defined single-sex learning environment for boys from up until Year 10, with the opportunity to experience coeducation in VCE in partnership with Ruyton Girls’ School.

In Year 7, Trinity students are inducted into the Senior School, pledging to always be inclusive of others, be courageous in their pursuits, strive to be their best selves and wear their Trinity blazers with pride.

Six years later, they bookend their educational journey in the Cathedral once again with their final Year 12 assembly.

Early Learning Centre

The Early Learning Centre offers 3 and 4-year-old coeducational Kindergarten programs centred in child-led discovery.

Junior School

Our Junior School educates approximately 430 boys from Prep – Year 6 in a single-sex learning environment.

Senior School

Dotted along both sides of Wellington and Charles Street, our Senior School educates roughly 1,000 students from Year 7 – Year 12.
