Sean Cox (ex officio)

Sean Cox commenced at Trinity in January 2026 as Deputy Principal and joins School Council in an ex officio capacity.

Jeremy Yipp

Jeremy was appointed to School Council in March 2026 and is a member of the Finance and Risk Committee. Jeremy is a past student (OTG 1995) and current parent. Jeremy has over 20 years of strategy, finance, risk experience initially gained through Accenture and subsequently in senior executive roles at ANZ and CCI. He is currently a Director and Treasurer of StreetSmart Australia and a member of the board of RIAC. Jeremy is a graduate of the AICD Company Directors course and will add significant value to the school’s future financial framework governance and planning.

Corey Gatt – PA Nominee

Corey was appointed to Council in March 2026, as the Parents’ Association nominee. He is a current parent, Year 8 and parent of an OTG 2025. Corey is a senior executive from the building products industry with over 20 years experience managing large business units. Having been a board member of a mining operation and with exposure to major infrastructure projects his experience fits well with the execution of the 2030 strategic plan. Corey will also sit on ITEC.

Mark Glover (ex officio)

Mark currently holds the position of Director of Business and Company Secretary at Trinity. He has worked in both Catholic and Independent Schools for over 25 years including at Strathcona Baptist Girls Grammar School in Canterbury and Genazzano FCJ College in Kew. He is responsible to the Principal for the management of all non-academic areas of the school and is a member of the Senior Leadership Team. As Company Secretary, he supports the School Council and its Committees to ensure the governance framework is managed in accordance with the statutory obligations. He is a past-President and Life member of CEBA (Catholic Education Business Administrators Inc.), served on many state-wide Catholic Education committees and panels, and currently serves as the Chair and National Director of ASBA Ltd (Australian School Bursars Association) and is the former ASBA Victoria State President. He also is a Director of ASCA Ltd and their Foundation, which provides financial support to students across the nation to assist with their access to a quality education.

Adrian Farrer (ex officio)

Adrian is the twelfth Principal of Trinity Grammar School in its 124 year history. He arrived in 2020 at the start of the pandemic. Prior to his appointment to Trinity, he was Principal of Cathedral College Wangaratta for seven years. Cathedral College is a leading Independent Coeducational Anglican School with 1,030 students from Prep to Year 12. Prior to becoming a Principal, Adrian had extensive experience as an educational leader in independent schools. He worked in leadership during his seven years at Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School (PEGS), and spent nine years at Camberwell Grammar School, largely as Head of Middle School. Along the way, he has taught English and History across many year levels. Attending Melbourne Grammar School from 1983 to 1991, Adrian went on to do a Bachelor of Education and a Masters in Educational Management at the University of Melbourne. Adrian is married to Jacquie and they are the very proud parents of three daughters; Chloe, Lucy and Harriet.

David Yong

David was appointed to School Council in August 2019 and is a member of the Infrastructure, Technology and Environment Committee. He leads Mercer’s Board and Executive Remuneration Advisory consulting service line for the Pacific region. David’s prior educational experience includes being the President and Treasurer of Glendal Primary School Council and a member of Suzuki Music Victoria’s Council. His son has recently graduated from Trinity (OTG 2025).

Kate Inverarity – Deputy Chair

Kate was appointed to School Council in August 2019 and is currently Council Deputy Chair. She spent her childhood living on school campuses with her father as the Headmaster of Hale School, an independent boys’ school in Perth, and prior to that as Deputy Headmaster of Pembroke School, an independent co-ed school in Adelaide. She is a founding partner of Nightingale Advisors. Kate has two sons; OTG (2021) and OTG (2023). Her brother-in-law and nephew are also OTGs.

Jane Kupsch

Jane Kupsch was appointed to School Council in July 2018. She is a member of the Finance and Risk Committee and the Governance Committee, and has been the coordinator of the Junior School class representatives. Jane is a partner in Gadens’ Disputes & Investigations Group and is a commercial litigation specialist. Her areas of expertise include directors’ duties and governance. She is also the immediate past Chairperson of the Law Institute of Victoria Commercial Litigation Advisory Committee.

Leigh Hodges (OTG 1976) – OTGA Nominee

Leigh is the Old Trinity Grammarian Association’s (OTGA) nominee to the School Council, appointed in June 2020. Leigh is a member of ITEC and also supports Council and the Principal on the Gallery of Achievement Committee. He is the founder and Principal Consultant of Leigh Hodges, and a specialist in people and performance. Leigh has lived and worked in Europe and studied in North America. He has over 25 years’ experience working with organisations and individuals, to develop confident leaders, high-performance teams and engaging cultures. Leigh, his brother and son all attended Trinity Grammar School. 

Simon Gipson OAM

Simon was appointed to School Council in August 2018 as the Archbishop’s Nominee and served as Council Chair from July 2020 to December 2022. He was appointed as an Ordinary Member to Council in January 2023. Simon has had an extensive career in education working across Australia and internationally as a teacher, principal and consultant. From 2000 to 2017, Simon was Head of St Michael’s Grammar School, St Kilda.
