Justice Sharon Johns

Justice Sharon Johns completed a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law and in 2013 was appointed as a Judge of the Family Court of Australia and continues to work in that role. In addition to her work as a Judge, she is actively involved in the Trinity Community and provides voluntary services to a number of community and sporting groups. 

Kate Hall

Kate Hall was a member of the Trinity Leadership Team and Deputy Headmaster, Daily Administration (later renamed Assistant Principal, Daily Administration) a role she held for 21 years until her retirement at the end of 2021Kate commenced her teaching at Trinity in 1987, teaching English and Literature, then taking on several leadership roles that of Assistant Group master and Head of Year during her early tenure, until appointment to the Leadership role.  
 
Although retired, Kate remains connected and dedicated to Trinity and the broader Trinity community. Kate keeps busy in her retirement spending time with friends and family, reading, playing tennis and enjoys planning for her next trip overseas. 

John Gillam

John was the Chair of School Council from June 2018 until July 2020, serving on School Council for 3 years. John has an extensive executive and non-executive career historyHe is currently Chairman of CSR Limited and Nufarm Limited as well as a Board Member of the Clontarf Foundation and the Heartwell Foundation. John was the CEO of Bunnings from 2004 to 2016 and was also a past Board Member at Ruyton Girls’ School. His son graduated from Trinity Grammar School in 2018. 

Wendy Cooper

Wendy is a past parent and the mother of two OTGs, her youngest finishing at the School in 2014.  Wendy has a daughter who attended Ruyton Girls’ School finishing in 2018. 

During Wendy’s time at Trinity she was an active volunteer in the school community having been involved in the Parents’ Association, Cafeteria Committee and a member of the Fair Committee.  

David Baumgartner

David Baumgartner is the Senior Partner and founder of Baumgartner Group (Chartered Accountants) in Kew. David graduated from Trinity in 1979 and was invited onto the Old Trinity Grammarians Association committee in 1983, a position he continues to occupy after a recent stint as President. He is a past parent, his sons’ graduating in 2013 and 2017. David is an ardent supporter of Trinity’s unique vision that embraces the holistic development of each student. David’s past community activities including Treasurer of Friends of the Royal Botanic Gardens, President of the YMCA Aquarena, member of the Manningham Council Open Spaces Advisory Committee and coach at Templestowe Auskick.

Chris Braithwaite

Chris was a member of School Council from 2018 to 2026, and served for a number of years as Council Deputy Chair and Chair of the Infrastructure, Technology and Environment Committee (ITEC) and a member of the Governance Committee. He is a Partner in PwC’s Assurance Practice covering education and not-for-profit businesses. He has held past governance roles at CatholicCare, Risk Management Institute and Swinburne University. Chris has a son who attended Trinity (OTG 2024) and has a daughter at Ruyton Girls School.
