To apply for a position at Trinity Grammar School, you will need to submit:

  • A cover letter outlining why you believe you are suited to the role and what value you think you can add to the position and to the School.
  • Your CV/ resume.
  • The contact details of three professional references (These should be people that you have recently reported to. We will not contact your references without checking with you first)

Our school undertakes a thorough selection process to ensure that applicants have:

  • The technical abilities and maturity to undertake the inherent requirements of their position
  • A genuine passion and drive for wanting to be employed at a school
  • A good understanding of their responsibilities to our students and child safety
  • Are a good fit for our cultural growth.

Applicants that have been shortlisted for interview can expect to participate in a formal interview process and if they are successful, be invited for a second-round interview.

Applicants for teaching positions are required to teach a full demonstration lesson that will be observed and form part of the decision-making process for the position.

Unsuccessful applicants who were not invited to an interview for the position they have applied for, will be notified by email.

Unsuccessful applicants who were invited to an interview will be notified by a phone call and be provided with constructive feedback.

Trinity Grammar School is strongly committed to the safety and wellbeing of all students and has no tolerance for child abuse. All successful applicants must abide by the Child Safety Policy and the Child Safety Code of Conduct and related school policies.

All successful applicants will have a minimum of two professional reference checks, need to provide certified copies of their qualification and must agree to a national police check.

All teachers must have current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration and all non-teaching staff must have a current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
