- Our Anglican connection
In 1903, Trinity Grammar School became the second Anglican boys’ school in Melbourne as classes commenced in the Holy Trinity Church Kew parish hall.
Today, the school’s connection to the Anglican faith continues through our teachings, our philosophy, and our values of truth, courage and service and community. Trinity is also part of an extensive network of Anglican schools in and beyond Melbourne.
From ELC through to Year 12, students attend services catered to their age and stage in the beautiful on-site Trinity Chapel.
Religious Education is part of the curriculum up until Year 10. Classes are conversation-based and encourage listening, questioning, curiosity and engagement.
Our chaplaincy team of four provides faith guidance and support to students and staff throughout their journey at Trinity.
St Paul’s Cathedral
Milestone school events held at St Paul’s Cathedral are a time-honoured tradition for Trinity students.
In Year 7, they are inducted into the Senior School, pledging to always be inclusive of others, be courageous in their pursuits, strive to be their best selves and wear their Trinity blazers with pride.
Six years later, they bookend their educational journey in the Cathedral once again with their final Year 12 assembly.
Trinity’s partnership with St Paul’s Cathedral extends to the St Paul’s Cathedral Choir, of which several students rehearse and perform with every year.
