About

The Trinity classroom is a defined single-sex learning environment for boys from Prep-Year 10, with the opportunity to experience coeducation in VCE in partnership with Ruyton Girls’ School.

The Trinity Grammar School story began in the Parish Hall of Holy Trinity Kew in 1903.

Now, Trinity stretches across four locations – Kew, Bulleen, Lake Nillahcootie and Licola – with students hailing from over 80 suburbs in and beyond Melbourne.

The Trinity classroom is a defined single-sex learning environment for boys from Prep-Year 10, with the opportunity to experience coeducation in VCE in partnership with Ruyton Girls’ School.  Our Early Learning Centre accommodates both boys and girls at the 3 and 4-year-old level.

We care for approximately 1,500 students from ELC 3 – Year 12.

Predicated by the Victorian Curriculum and underscored by a philosophy of student agency, growth and resilience, our approach offers young people the breadth and depth to become their best selves.

Our learning philosophy is underscored by the idea that education is not one-size-fits-all, using data to inform our age and stage approach.

Our purpose is to be an aspirational learning community that inspires every individual to strive and contribute positively to society. Our values of truth, service, courage and community underscore our students’ experiences each day and stretch into an extensive alumni network, parent community and staff cohort who together characterise what makes Trinity, ‘Trinity’.

We want our young people to choose their own adventure, and to build within them the confidence to write their own story; to make choices, change paths and navigate obstacles to define their own journey.
