John Weatherson, Linda’s father, established the Old Trinity Grammarians Football Club in 1954, where Linda remains actively involved. Linda first vocation was as a teacher, before moving into local government as a senior executive at the City of Melbourne for more than 20 years. She does voluntary work, travels and mentors and coaches younger people.

He proudly represented the school in both cricket and football, playing in the First teams, and formed lifelong friendships, particularly through Arnold House.
